gaaayaah I'm so excited because I've finally figured out how to use the pen tool. I'm really impressed by the clean slashy slicey lines it can put down. I'm still getting the hang of juggling brush size with stroking as there is a ton of hotkey tapping. I'll have to look into more shortcuts for deleting paths and what not.

This is just a test of what I've gotten so far in my Taokaka inking project- I just wanted to capture the contour of her curves for this preview.

It seems to take much longer to ink in this way but I think it is immeasurably more satisfying for my perfectionist OCD ways. It offers a lot more control and tweaking. Which I LOVE.

still trying to decide if it saves me time or just adds on, and if the difference between pen and freehand actually matter to the viewer..
